New MAF?
Hey i got a question. Sorry this might be a stupid question but i just might be a stupid person :P. Well i am looking @ buying an intake off of another member here on CL. The intake came off of his sc300 and i have a 92 sc400. He mentioned that his intake came with a MAF and that i would need to switch it out since it would not work on the sc4. My question is will i need to buy a new MAF or am i able to just use the one i currently have on my car and just take the MAF off the intake he sends me?
Thank you for any input i greatly appreciate it.

If youu decide to get this I would make a box or enclosure .. the open one like this allows nothing or mostly hot air in. Again this is imo. I do t want to hinder the sale of the filter. No offense to the seller. I still say do the bfi and make a nice lid or cover.
^^ Exactly, the best thing you can do on a n/a SC is the BFI, or even drill out a few holes on the front of the intake box and drop in a higher flowing filter like K&N (leave the cold air snorkel still attached for best of both). I had that setup it felt better than the cone filter.
If you enclose that its basically a BFI, but enclosing is the trickest part.
and yeah you can just use your maf and attach all those parts to it. don't use the sc300 maf its smaller.
