Default Occasional hard start

Hello.

I have a 2015 IS 350 F-Sport with just under 9K miles. Occasionally, the car takes a little longer to start with a few more cranks. I've never had to push the start button twice. Once, it really seemed to struggle to start, but it did. I've had the battery/starter/alternator checked at 2 different local auto stores, and everything checks out fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

if it's under warranty, I'd take it in.

I don't have an answer for your question but I do know that if you do in fact take it in, your car will need to be able to replicate the issue

Wow I was about to call my local dealer tomorrow to schedule a drop off. My car (2015 is250 fsport) does the same thing. I have 5k and started this car this morning and it was very hesitant to start. Same thing happened this afternoon while it sat all day at work.

Im getting heavy vibration after start. I'll update what the dealer tells me.

I'll take it in to the dealership and see what they say.

Thanks

I met that problem once or twice over the past year. I am pretty sure even if I bring it in, they will said they can't replicate the problem and they won't fix anything. I have extended warranty. Let me see how it goes in the next 7 years =P

Any update ? Dropped my car off today with the same problem. Happens when the car sits for 8 hours or more.

I am experiencing this issue as well. 2014 IS350 here with 33k on the odometer. The hard/long start is very random in occurrence with sometimes going multiple days before reoccurring. It is not typically the first start of the morning but usually in the afternoon when leaving from work. Anyone find a cause/solution?

Had the battery load tested and came back fine. I am going to hook up my charger to the batter every night over a week period to see if it eliminates the issue. Wish the car had a voltage indicator so I could watch for drops.
