Default Car won't start

So about a month ago, I started my car with my remote starter, started fine. Went out to the car and pressed the brake pedal, car shut off which is normal. Then wen I went to try and start the car with the push button, it wouldn't start took about 5 tries, it cranked but wouldn't turn over. I blew it off as a fluke.

A few days later I was sitting in my car listening to the radio with the ignition off, all of a sudden everything started to dim and radio shut off. Car wouldn't start without a jump. I checked the battery and it had an apparent leak on top, I took it back and they gave me a replacement and everything was running fine until this morning, I started my car remotely again, went in to start it with the push start and it took about 10 tries, any ideas what it would be?

If it helps at all, I had the alternator replaced last year along with the battery, and then the battery again about a month ago when this problem started. After it started this morning, I got to work and turned it off and turned it back on with no problem.

I don't think it's the alternator since it starts just fine with the remote start. The problem is once I get in and try to start it manually after the remote start disengages it struggles to start. Cranks but won't start. I think if the problem were a bad alternator I would have problems while the car was running, like I did last year when I replaced it.

can the remote start or alarm cables be causing some sort of short that is preventing the car to start or damaging the battery?
