Navigation Screen Damage
Anyone have a navigation screen go kaput?
Mine still works, but there's a large blotchy circle on the screen now, as if it 'popped'.
No damage to the surface, but oil like marks taking up about 1/4 of the screen, the lower right corner.
My apologies as I forgot to take a picture, but will need to post one.
Please advise if anyone's experienced this before, if a known issue and if any service bulletins on same.
Also, does this sound like something that must be resolved before lease return?

I had the same problem when I first purchased my Lexus. I accidentally sprayed glass cleaner onto the screen 
which produced that mark on my screen but it was spread out all over for mine. I took it in to the dealer with a brief prior explanation of what had happened. They replaced it for me no questions asked

yeah, that looks like the same condition my NX had. It's not due to using a "normal" cleaner, it's a defect. It could happen with just some water and a microfiber cloth if it happens to be a defective coating.

This has also happened to me. Took it to dealer they say it's not covered under my Certified Pre-Owned Warranty because it doesn't cover "appearance". Is this really the case? Anything else I can do?
