Default New tire recommendations?

So after only 10,300 miles, my rear tires are down to 3/32 and need to be replaced...it's ridiculous. I've had sports cars and performance tires in the past, and never needed tires sooner than about 25,000 miles. Front tires seem to be okay, but just buying new OEM Bridgestone Turanzas is gonna cost about $700, so it may be worth to just replace all four. Thoughts?

Replace all 4! Seriously. The best summer tire available for these cars (and most cars) is the Pilot Super Sports. Easily the best summer tires i've ever had...grip like the hand of god. ironically, they are about the same price as the Turanza's on Tire Rack.

It's a lease with another year and a half to go. I've had the car for a year and a half and only have just over 10,000 miles. I don't need anything over the top since its a lease and going back soon. I'd get something cheaper for the rears, but then I'd get nailed for mismatching tires when i turn the lease in. The front tires are good for now, but i know I'll have to replace them before its time to turn it in. I may just replace the rears with something else, then buy a matching pair for the front when the time comes.

Wow... Do you drift your car ?
Because I'm on the second set of tires and this car usually consumes the front wheels like if it is FWD car!
The first set got me about 31k miles and it could have done more (approx 50k), but one of the tires got damaged due to a long nail so I replaced all tires. Anyway it is worth to upgrade to Michelin SSP or continental DWS.

I second the recommendation of the Pilot Super Sports. It is one of the best performing tire out there. i changed my Turanzas at 20,000 miles.

I wish i could say that i drift or track the car as a way of explaining why the rears were fried so quickly. I'm not gonna lie...the car is always in sport + mode and i definitely make the most of it, but like i said, I've had much more powerful cars and never went through tires before at least 20k miles.

Oh well. I ended up buying a full set of Hankook Ventus Evo 2 tires...bought them on Amazon for $611 including shipping and taxes...just two of tje Bridhestones would've cost me about $650. The Evo 2s got much better reviews than the Evo 1s by almost all the tire websites, plus they weren't that expensive, so i figured they'd do the job. I only have the car another year, so hopefully they'll last that long.

The Pilot Sports are great tires, and if i owned the car i definitely would've picked up a set, but i didn't want to pay that much since it's a lease that's going back pretty soon

I paid around 700 for Michelin PSS plus 100+ for installation at Discount Tire. They are much better than stock . Btw my stock tires last for 30k miles, 75% of the time in sport plus mode.

+1 on the Pilot Super Sports.

if you decide you want a full set of OEM Turanzas, I have a set for sale with 136 miles on them.

if you want cheapy tires, just buy the OEM ones from CL members. we ALL have them! and most of us swapped out the rubber with little miles on them. once i throw my volks on, i'll be dumping my stockies
