Post Lexus (OEM) Carbon Mirror Covers (review and photos)

Hi there,

over the past two years I have gained a lot of useful insights from these forums. Hopefully, the following information will contribute in the same way.

I am adding CFRP parts to my IS and was looking for a solution for the side mirrors. While I respect the quality work of RUN RIOT / LEMS, their set contains additional OEM parts, thus making it a bit to expensive for my taste. Carbon look vinyl wrap materials may provide an alternative solution for some... However, my prerequisites in terms of look/quality/price have now been fulfilled by a reasonable compromise... by Lexus.

The following set of carbon *look* mirror covers come surprisingly close to the real deal (I've compared them to some other CFRP parts). The set is labeled Made in Austria and sold by Lexus Europe as part of their accessories lineup for the CT 200h. The following information should enable you to procure and import from the EU.
Parts number: LHD model code (ZWA10L-*): PZ49J-Z0520-ZU; RHD model code (ZWA10R-*): PZ49J-Z0521-ZU
Price: EUR 170 (approx. USD 185)
These will fit the current CT, IS, GS and RC models.

You can find additional photos and information on my minkara site: http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/user...8/album/69608/

A couple of photos for reference:

Part numbers will differ (LHD vs RHD).

Different alignment size (driver side mirror vs passenger side mirror).

Wink

And hello again... took me only a year to review another set of mirror covers from "gauge tuner", found in another thread here.
Attached are a couple more photos... and my review can be found here. Well, the long in the short of it, the OEM parts offer perfect fit but the covers made from actual cfrp look/feel so much better.
