Im still waiting to finally notice something on the body of the car, I have walked around it a dozen times now, its such a mindf***. Like why only the windshield?... surely im missing something, walks around car again. Im thinking the same thing as far as the culprit goes. I pulled in one day waiting on him to come outside and one of his neighbors was staring as if he had something to say.. I never made much of it other than the guy may have had a staring problem. Ive thought about taking the damaged windshield once its replaces and sitting it in his yard.. but theres the whole proof thing.

I would still contact your insurance just to see if it covers glass.
There shouldn't be a restriction on aftermarket replacement coverage only.
Your OEM broke, and that's what they should be replacing.
Mine broke once, and after paying my deductibles, my insurance paid for the rest.

I'm sure the insurance will cover that. It sucks though, sorry man. Jealousy is a sickness.

I'll post pics once I get back to my laptop.
Sounds like someone's really jealous of your car. Maybe it's a pissed off ex with a hammer lol

Got this fixed about 3-4 weeks ago, went back and forth with the insurance company for weeks after they refused to replace it with OEM glass. Long story short, they werent caving so easily and my windshield was getting worse so I took the aftermarket glass. There was never a real difference, I just wanted the car put back to original condition. I went ahead and installed a Blackvue for future occurrences. I have been trying to figure out what everyone else is using in their car for cloud access on these things. Its probably the coolest feature the camera has to offer but I can only use it when its close enough to my Home Wi-Fi connection. Plenty of searches and still no info can anyone chime in on that?
