I was looking to swap my turn signals to LED ones. I don't feel comfortable with the idea of splicing and stuff. I was wondering if anyone has used these ijdmtoy ones that are plug and play with built in decoders and if so, how they looked. Or if you swapped to led but didn't use these specific ones and did not have to splice (plug and play adapter of some sort) if you could share as well..
Heres the ones from ijdmtoy. I've purchased LEDs from them in the past and have no complaints but I've never tried these. Thanks!
Make sure the decoders have appropriate fittings for the IS housings. I purchased a set of LED bulbs and adapters from a vendor on here. The adapters fit the rear sockets no problem, but the fronts required some modification using a Dremel because the notches were not the right height/width.

On their website it says tested on a 2014 3is, so hopefully they're plug and play with no modification
I have them. I purchased them to get rid of the "egg yolk" look that amber bulbs give off.
The only downside I'd mention is that the bulbs use rubber "boots" around the lamp that hold them into the housing, instead of a plastic socket that twists into place. They hold tightly into place once they're inserted but I found it difficult to get them pressed into place without first adhering the boot to the bulb with a little permatex ultra gray I had on hand. Otherwise the bulbs kinda moved around inside the boot making it hard to press them into place properly.
Also, polarization is important and they can be plugged in "backwards" that is to say if they are, they won't work at all. A quick 180 on the plug is the solution in this case,
Last, I'd say that the video is an accurate representation of them in action.
How's the install on both rear and front? The driver side front seems like it could be very frustrating. And the rears I would assume you take off those screws that attach the lining and just work in there?
Anyone have any other options to change over to LED? the first thing I'll be doing is swapping all bulbs to led... no idea why they don't do this from the factory
