The tire wear on mine has been better than expected. As warned by the sticker on the window, I was only expecting 15k miles out of them, but now that I am past 15k, they still have plenty of tread life left. I tend to be pretty easy on tires, though.

The USB color is a looker! I don't think I could personally handle it, but I look forward to seeing them on the road! I'm with you, though, in lamenting the loss of the MRM color. I absolutely love it.

 

Is it the norm to expect only 15k out of tires? Or is it just the factory tires being the problem?

 

It depends on the tire. The factory tires that come on the IS are not rated for high mileage.
