Default Packages in 2014 IS350 AWD? NEED HELP

Ok folks, I test drove all the performance sedans on the market this past weekend (in the high $40K range) and I was extremely impressed with the Lexus IS350 AWD, it was just what I was looking for. I wanted to see if anyone special ordered their IS350, looks like there isn't any in the local area the way I want it. I'm looking for the following:

- Lexus IS350 AWD
- Navigation / Mark Levinson Premium Audio System Package
- Luxury and Technology Package (includes Lane Departure Alert, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and much more)
- Pre-Collision with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
- Exterior Color: Starfire Pearl Interior Color: Flaxen

I can't configure this online but my local Lexus dealership (Pohanka Lexus in Chantilly) said this can be special ordered which can take up to 4 months. I'm more then willing to wait to ensure I get the care the way I'd like it, but I wanted to see if anyone has a similar configuration? Appreciate the help.

That might be a difficult one to find. I work at Lexus of Omaha and we always have trouble finding the AWD cars with Pre-Collision. It seems like the Pre Collision cars always end up being on the west coast and down south and consequently end up being RWD. Here in the Midwest less than 2% of our cars come with Pre Col. Maybe your dealer has the ability to trade with another dealership. They'll probably crack you for transportation, but it would probably save you 3 1/2 months of waiting.

Thanks for the quick response! I'm not too worried about the wait, even though its a bummer. However I'm curious if you know, is it still possible for me to negotiate a good deal on a special order? Or can you only haggle / hassle with cars dealers have on the lot?

I am in no way associated with the Auto sales industry... but using some logic (please correct me if I'm wrong):

While not impossible to negotiate a good deal on a special order, it is more difficult then negotiating for an in-stock vehicle.

If you decide to get up and leave during a negotiation for a special order vehicle, the dealer hasn't lost anything. As opposed to negotiating for an in-stock vehicle where the dealer HAS TO start the negotiating process all over again with another buyer if you leave.
