Default Which is the better deal??

Hey All,

About to purchase my first 3IS250, wanted to get it used. I came across two cars and I'm having trouble deciding between the two.

Problem I'm having is selecting either Silver Metallic/Black (Fully loaded with black wheels) & White/Black (No navigation)

I'm not particularly fond of the Silver but it has navigation, and I'm in love with the White exterior and black interior but the car has no navigation.

Would I be missing anything other than a map if i choose the car without navigation?

Thanks!

Navi sucks in 3IS, you can mirror your phone to the screen

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...tructions.html

personally i would get the color combo i want instead of the options i want

If you are wanting to buy used, then just wait for your perfect combo/options to become available. The 2 year lease returns are coming on the market and you might only wait a few weeks.

How is anyone supposed to gauge the "deal" if all the information you've mentioned is color and whether or not it has nav?

Regarding nav, in a new car, you could pay around ~$2,000 for a built-in nav system, or you can buy the top-of-the-line Garmin GPS model for under $400. I find Garmin GPS's have better operating systems, mapping features and input controls, especially the higher-end one's with capacitive touch screens. I've always found in-car nav systems more difficult to use. But I guess being built-in is a benefit some are willing to sacrifice for...

Nothing, you'll probably save money and on the few occasions you'll want nav you can buy a Garmin for that...

I did say it...
But I'll clarify for you.

Deal 1: white exterior/black interior $1000 more with NO NAVIGATION.
Deal 2: silver lining exterior/black interior $1000 less with navigation. Fully loaded

I don't understand what you're referring to when you say 'I did say it...' What is "it"? In your OP you said nothing about the "deal" itself. Just color and nav options. Those are really personal preference matters. If it was your original goal to judge people's personal preferences on color and nav only, then I understand just giving that information, but you asked which is the better deal.

I have no idea for you which is the better deal, but if it was me, my personal preference would be a silver IS350 F Sport without nav.

Good luck on your purchase decision.

you are not really missing anything without navi. I have the fully loaded version and I never use the navi. The program itself is too slow for me, its much faster with a phone. I do like ML sound though.

This

If you dont buy it now your money still there. Why not wait for White with Navi. I would wait until I find the exact what I want.

What machine13 is trying to get across to you is you have really given very little information to base a good judgement on - pricing, mileage, and condition added to what you've already provided might help.

Got it, apologies for being vague.

I do however, have an offer for $33,580 + 9% tax which comes out to be around $37,000
dealers around are pricing similar vehicles for more, also charging more for non f-sport models.

This is a fully loaded used IS250 F sport thats certified (Minus Levinson), silver that has about 23,000 miles.

Bank loans/Lexus financial services offered me 2.9% for 60 months.

I'm putting about $7,000 down, and financing the rest.

Is this a good deal?

Thanks!!
