2015 IS 350 F sport RWD

Anyone experience a false seat belt indicator tone while driving? This happens very rarely like 1-2 a month. only had the vehicle for 3 months. Only on the driver side. When the seat belt indicator goes off I wiggle the seat belt buckle and the indicator goes away.

Any thoughts?

I have not, but I freaking hate the sound of it when I forget or refuse to when I'm traveling down the neighborhood to the park.

Obviously, It's there so they don't get sued because they most likely did one time in some BS law-suit... My previous 2013 infiniti never beeped, but my new lexus does... even tho I do always wear my seatbelt, sometimes its annoying cause you're traveling a very short distance in a shopping mall or something like that.

 

You should definitely have the dealer take a look at it. The seat belt could possibly be faulty.

 

I had my dealer turn mine off for the 15is from day one

 

Wish I knew that when I bought the car... might be worth taking a trip to the dealership soon.

The dealer gave me a list of about 30 items to check off to customize it, including the window down feature from the fob, and a couple of other littler nuances. i think the only two i checked off were the windows and the annoying beep
