After two G37X leases I'm seriously considering a switch to the IS350 F-Sport AWD due to not being thrilled with a number of things with the Q50 and I also think it's just time for a change.
I'm very interested in the ML audio system, but it's seems like availability for this option is somewhat limited if not non-existent. Were only a small percentage of cars manufactured with this option and they've already all been snatched up? Do they still exist at random dealers around the country?
I've read that you can custom order with certain options, but I'm wondering what the lead time on an order like this might be? My lease is up on 9/1 so my guess is that this couldn't be accomplished in time.
Any suggestions or information will be greatly appreciated!
I was speaking with a salesman yesterday about an IS350 F Sport AWD. He tells me that the ML Audio and the PCS/Dynamic Radar are pretty rare. In fact, they're a special order in the VA/MD/DC area right now.
for some reason the north east model fsports which are predominantly AWD don't have mark lev for some reason. the nonfsport 350s I've seen quite a few with mark lev. its pretty much a special order on this side of the country. in california a lot of 350 fsports have mark lev, but they are the RWD models. not sure why lexus optioned the cars like this

I think they try to keep the price point under $50 K. However, when I was in the market, AWD FSport cars destined for the Pacific Northwest had ML, so go figure. I had to order my AWD FSport with ML, but worth the wait for me.
I have stereo issues with my ML system. My IS250 is equipped with NAV and ML though. Anyone here have the same? If yes, any receiver or blue flashes on the NAV screen?
Off topic, but just curious what you're not liking about the Q50. I owned a G35 and looked at trading in for a Q50, but ultimately ended up with the IS350. Just wondering...
LED, there were a number of small things but still think it's a pretty great car and still love the 3.7L engine, in no particular order...
- Think that the InTouch system is sort of half baked and don't particularly like it from a visual perspective
- Car is only available with run-flats
- Road feel, even without the drive by wire steering, does not have the same feel as it did in the G37 and this is definately more that just driving on run flats as they are bringing the G37 steering column back for the 2016 Q50S
Small things, I know, but more than anything I think it's just time for a change after two G37 leases!
