Default Adjust number of clicks for directional?

I was wondering if anyone knows whether it's possible to increase the number of clicks for the "temporary" directional (it's currently only 3 clicks, which isn't very long). I'm referring to when you push the directional lever only a small amount and then release (as opposed to engaging it completely)....

There's a way I remember reading a thread on it a while back. Try searching

Lexus personal preferences offers that choice on some years and models (you'll have to do a search). Either got to the dealer (possible charge) or buy one of the software apps and OBD2 adapter to do it yourself.

I changed the flashes to 5 instead of 3 on my 2015 IS 350 F sport, so the procedure worked fine. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

Now if I could only figure out how to configure this so that pressing the stalk in the SAME direction cancels the turn signal, which is what I am used to in my previous cars. I tried doing a search but couldn't find anything about this.

5 blinks is perfect for changing lanes.

I don't think you can configure the stalk to function that way. (Correct me if I'm wrong) It's always been the opposite direction to cancel.

Step 7 in PDF attachment on the factory direction thread linked by leapfrog above will have that instruction.

Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong file, but step 7 in the factory pdf that Leapfrog provided only appears to refer to changing the number of flashes, which I've already done. I'm interested in changing the way that the stalk moves to cancel the directional. I would like to move the stalk in the -same- direction as the directional to cancel it, not the opposite direction (which is the way it is configured now). Am I looking in the wrong place for the instructions/

It can't be done. What if someone wasn't able to change lanes the first try and wanted to add more flashes by moving the stalk again? Your way, it couldn't be done

Swfla is correct; you can't enable BOTH the blink-to-change-lanes feature AND the cancel-turn-signals-by-moving-stalk-in-same-direction feature. You have to pick one or the other - see Step (c)(1) on the 1st page of the .pdf provided.

This clears it up for me- thanks again. I think that I like the ability to cancel the turn signals by moving the stalk in the same direction, more than I like the "blink to change lanes" feature. I will experiment with this, now that I know how to change it, and can always change it back....
