What are good settings for the dealers to program?

I know I want the windows up and down with the key fob but is there anything else worth getting?

Lane change blinker number. You have the option of 3, 5 or 7 blinks

It is set to 3 blinks by default
5 blinks works perfect for me

Theres an OBDII app on Android and IOS that you can use to program some of these settings. You just need the Bluetooth OBDII plug for your phone. :P

There's actually no official manual for this in the handbook but someone here posted the step by step instructions.

Default Lane Change Blinker

Lane change flash count? You can do it yourself, no tools required.

See the attachment.

I'm pretty sure they can. I did mine myself - but, it did take me a couple of times to get it right.

If one is already headed to the dealer for the freebie customization, why not let them do it?

You can also program the sunroof to open as well in addition to all windows when you press and hold the "unlock" button on the key fob. This was the default (all windows+sunroof) open when "unlock" button is pressed and hold) in 2IS and somehow Lexus has changed it to just all windows open for safety/liability reason.

Thx for instructions. Guy at dealer didnt even know how to program blinker. Is there a way to close all windows and sunroof with your key?! That would be really useful when you forget to roll up your windows!

Wow great attachment! Thanks.

My dealer didnt understand the options for the method of cancellation on a turn signal and the pdf will allow me to customize it myself:

1) factory setting: you must turn the signal stalk to the opposite direction to cancel the turn signal. In other words, to cancel a right turn signal, you must press the stalk to the opposite position (left).

-or-

2) optional setting: you can press the stalk in the same direction to cancel the turn signal function (turn signal right, you press towards the right again to cancel the turn signal ALA BMW style which i am used to. This makes sense to me as it prevents you from triggering the left turn signal when you want to cancel the right turn signal or vice versa)

Unfortunately, it is not possible to close all windows +sunroof with the key. For some Honda with a traditional key fob, it is possible to do when you put the key in the keyhole and turn it.
