I have RWD 3IS with the joez axle back

and i think this is just the right about of drone...very subtle and keeps the class/luxury of the cars look...its not TOO much and it keeps the cockpit of the car not extremely loud with the drone if you were to have the full cat

i think it depends on your comfort level. I have a rwd and cat back system. from engine start you'll have a nice "growl" from the eng and will taper down until you start to accelerate. the sound of the exhaust is nice and fairly loud as you continue to accelerate until you hit your cruising speed; in my car I'm at an avg of 1.5-2k rpm. at that rpm range there's a little drone, but none that bothers me. it's definitely louder than stock but not annoying. I can carry a conversation or listen to my radio with no issues or loud volume. I haven't been in a cabin to hear this model w/ just an axel back other than youtube videos and even then you don't get a true sound. you only get an idea of what it sounds like. I've had axel backs in my 2 previous cars (02 celica gt-s and 02 is300 both had cf hks-ti) and they sounded great (deep and loud as lift kicked in in my celica) during acceleration, but again, tapered down at cruising to the point I couldn't really hear the exhaust (near stock db). there's a possibility that the joe z axel back is similar.

Is the Joe Z catback the only option for 2014+ AWD IS? and it fits both the is250 and is350 awd?

I believe ark makes a cat back system. all rwd systems fit rwd models as do the awd systems fits respectively.

I kept mine in my storage unit, along with my stock suspension (i have the RSR Super Downs)

Going to install OEM parts when my lease is complete or if I decide to do an early return for the RCF
