Hey guys just looking for input I bought the eBay spoiler a few members have on their car. Most have kept it matte black. Just wondering if you think I should paint it usb to match the car or also leave it black. I'm torn with not seeing one colour matched yet.
I have this same dilemma...whether or not to paint mine UW, gloss black or leave it matte....decisions decision!
imo, black accented parts look great on white cars. especially if you have other part done as well (ie roof, wheels, mirrors, etc). but I wouldn't leave it matted, it would look "off" assuming your paint is glossy...maybe semi-gloss if you don't want it looking like black glass.
as for OP, do you have any other accents that are black or dark? even with tinted windows, you could pull off a black spoiler and not look "unfinished." I concur, more pics would be nice.
I will take more pics this weekend. No I don't have anything else black right now except my windows are tinted pretty dark at 20%. I plan on one day getting the seibon rear diffuser but that's about it.
Here is a couple more. It's not mounted so the lines aren't correct yet. I will get more farther away if people wanted. Also note I will be putting on the seibon diffuser as well so maybe gloss back is the way to go. Still not sure as never seen a usb colour spoiler in person yet.
This is a tough one because I have a similar dilemma on the style and color.
One thing for sure, for me not matte black because I have a gloss black vinyl wrapped roof so it's between gloss black to match that or CF to compliment my CF-wrapped spoilers at the front. If your roof will remain USB, I'd lean towards gloss black since it compliments your tints better than matte. USB spoiler not for me because it would make the trunk lip appear too high and narrow from the straight back. Having it black breaks it up and distinguishes the trunk from the spoiler. Hope this perspective helps you in some way,
