i spontaneously decided to go to Long Beach Island in New Jersey on Easter. I drove by myself on a 4 lanes freeway/highway. just to make it fun, i started accelerate and i reached 125 mph on Sport+ mode. it felt so good. and my car is only 5.6k miles. is it bad for the car? how fast have you guys gone to so far?

 

I've gone 140. It's crazy how fast it can go up to 100+ MPH from ~60MPH.

 

130 in my 250. Took some time but it was possible. Once you reach 60-70 its a lot faster getting up there but 0-130 takes time.

 

110mph i think i've done. and to answer your latter question, yes, you shouldn't have done that. the manual specifically says avoid driving constant speeds for a long duration and fast accelerations for at least the first 600 miles.

good job, your engine will prob be toast soon. have fun replacing.

fastest ever for me is 165 in my STi like 7 years ago.

 

I hit 135mph in my 250. I was pretty close to redlining.

 

138mph on sport 250.

 

300mph in my 250 F sport, sport mode +++++++
zero to 150 in 10 seconds

 

that is very fast. did you do it on track?

 

140mph in my IS350 F-sport on my way to Vegas from LA. Off topic but i still averaged 27mpg all hwy while maintaining a minimum of 80mph.
