Carplay not coming anytime soon

Looks like we are not getting Apple Carplay anytime soon. I was hoping it was going to be released as an update or atlas with newer vehicles. Hopefully someone can find a jaclbreak or hack in order to add it

If they are not going to do this then they need to step up there game with Enform, it's mediocre at best. I only use Pandora on long rides.

Agreed! Lexus needs to step up with better faster navigation system if they're not going to support Carplay. Just look at the navigation system with the new Jaguar XF. See how fast the screen zoom in and out? Multitouch and swipe support.

what exactly does the carplay do? All i really need is to be able to connect through bluetooth to play my audio.

I think that video is simulated. Meaning it's not a live demo of the screen. It's way too smooth.

Regardless, Gen8 Nav lags compared to similar infotainment systems. Needs more processing power!
