UX250h Built in Navigation Quirks
I opted to pay the $2200 extra for the built in high tech Navigation system in my new UX250h. I have noticed it is getting so much information on traffic that it wants to route me all over the place. Plus it completely misses some roads that it should find. I had hoped for the money this system would be like 99% accurate with directions, but it has some issues. Fortunately I do not blindly follow these Navigation systems in areas that I routinely drive in. After having my car for a month the Navigation system seems worse now than when I first got it. It had done a better job on "shortest" route a month ago, than it does now. I guess it is still a work in progress.

The newer gen nav system pulls data from the cloud, but you get that service for 3 years. It'll analyze future traffic and determines a better route than the algorithm built into the system. You can always turn off the Dynamic Navigation. It'll revert back to the static navigation where it doesn't pull information from the cloud but from HD radio\traffic.

The pursuit of F
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new UX.
I have yet to experience a 99%+ accurate nav tech from an automaker. Even Waze, although the best out there in my experience, is not perfect. At least you can enjoy the larger 10.3in screen.

Lexus UX navigation unreadable
Hi folks,
Just got my UX 250h F-Sport and loving it. On major annoyance, the navigation map is barely readable. What mode do you use 2D, 3D and can you change the horrible white font which is almost impossible to read...? I've turned the contrast down which makes it just slightly better but it's still very hard to read.
Also the DAB radio keeps losing the signal, my Merc hardly every lost a dab signal.
Help!
