Default Full Tank Range

Hey guys, just wondering what your mileage range displays when you fill it up to a full tank?

When I first got my IS it was about 350 miles, overtime it started dropping, which is expected since its adjusting for mpg. I was getting 350 for 3 months, then 330, 315, 300, and now I'm at 290 miles.

My average mpg shows 19. I haven't been driving super crazy lately so I'm not sure why my range is so low. The max tank capacity is 17.4 gallons, so 19 x 16 should be 304 miles. I rounded down a gallon since I'm not sure if it fills up to 17. I wait til I'm close to empty (~20 miles) before I fill up again and I use different pumps and stations to see if there's any variability. Anyone seeing significant drops in their range?

Yup. It used to be 270, now it's 210.

But that's what I get for living in Chicago lol. The city with stop signs/red lights at every block. The city with speed/red light cameras. It really kills my mpg.

Mine is roughly 305 miles at fill up but my car only has ~1400 miles and I average 18-19 mpg due to a packed work commute. 220 for a full tank?? Ouch

210-220?? Man I'd have that looked at. Bad o2 sensors? Mixing things wrong a bit rich? Wrong tires? Going from high to low seems backwards to me. In my Toyota Sienna @ 330k I was getting 26 mpg. A bump of 1 mpg from the new sticker. You shouldn't be going down. In my RX 350 I just did this test as I have a long commute and avg 23.5 mpg at a steady 70 mph.

Found this.....worth a read.

In my 15' is350, I'm around 3k on the clock and I'm getting about 320 on a tank. If it's all highway I got up to 380 until the light came on

Cold weather interacting with changes in winter fuel mixture can reduce mileage. My average mileage changed from aboout 22 (summer) to about 18 mpg during our recent extreme cold spell here in Connecticut. However, you are in California....

I usually get around 340-350 in the summer but for the winter its more around 300 miles to the tank.

17000 miles on the odometer BTW.

I'm around 13k KM and I usually get a max of 480km/tank if don't drive in Eco mode all the time. I used to use Eco all the time but for some reason didn't see a big difference in gas compared to the substantial change in engine response

220 does seem really low, I hope I don't get to that point. I'm at 20K right now and I've experienced summers and winters on my IS already ( I got it on August 2013) and I've only noticed drops not increases with my range. For some reason I just feel like my car has been having issues lately and I can't explain any of them. My car also doesn't handle sharp turns very well anymore.
