Default Rubbing on 20"s

What would be the solution to prevent rubbing on my 20"s? Pull or rolling the fenders? I still don't understand why one would choose to pull over rolling fenders, so if anyone can inform me <3

I'm running 20" Vossen CV5s with RS*R Downs and I don't rub.

Not even on dips or bumps? I talked to Wilson tai and rastaracer who have our same specs and I was told it rubs a bit. I've been told different things. I guess I'll find out soon when I install it

I know both of them personally and they're on coils. Rastaracer is running RS*R Sporti coils and Wilson has BC Racing. I have just springs and my buddy Jason (Stitch626 on the forums) has the same setup both with no rubbing. If you want to see photos, hit me up on instagram @Mr_CV5

+1 Cousin has same setup on his IS350 - Vossen CVTs with same widths, tires, etc. Lowered on RSR Downs. No rubbing at all! Unless he hits a stinkin' NYC pothole

I hit a speed bump too fast and dented my fender in Don't go over 5mph on speed bumps especially large ones

You're gonna rub. Couple of my friends have the same setup -- Toronto roads are not nice.
From what I remember, Cali you should be fine.

If I was confident I would be driving over a perfectly flat surface all day every day..... I would rock 20's.
Nor am I going to be wearing Vossens....... lol

But if you're going to do something right.... do it once.

I have a 2 finger gap in the front and 1 finger gap in the rear. I have dipped many times and haven't rubbed. You just need to be cautious with this setup. I have numerous friends on Vossen Wheels with the exact same specs as I do.

Not exactly. I live in LA. In the freeways there are speed bumps, (if you know what i mean). So imagine going over a speed bump at 40~60mph q,q~~

Exactly. Silly, cosmetic stuff, IMO. When I get aftermarket rims for my Summer tires, they will be 18's (running stock 17's now, and they look fine). I will not "lower" and ruin my ride and handling, either.

I don't find my springs ruined my ride or handling...I believe it made it better actually , in ride and looks. My car looks amazing when lowered compared to the massive gap it had before. It also handles a lot better than it did before.
