image we are running on SuperDowns......... i am just kidding. I am still debating on Coils or Springs and leaning towards 19's so i get more tire. LA roads are nice but there are times like what "Kayshkim" mentioned "speed bump" with all these new road construction the uneven pavement is ridiculous. Sometimes my tissue box jumps up in the back seat. As much as i want it to look aesthetically pleasing, i need it functional for my daily driver. its been 14 months and almost hitting 30k miles in LA.

MR_CV5, do you rub when you have a full load of passengers?

Changing springs cannot improve both ride and handling. One or the other, maybe, but not both.

With lowering springs, wheel travel is lost, so performance is lost, somewhere.

I'll live with the "oh so terrible" gap, for better performance.

How would they do that? Generally it's a trade-off between handing (stiffer) and ride (softer). I suppose it might be possible for a progressively-would spring to do both, but I'd have to "see it" to believe it.

Certainly, if you shorten the spring, it becomes impossible to then make simultaneous improvements in all performance parameters.

As a practical matter, all lowering springs will be stiffer, and ride will suffer.
