Default Detail Freaks?

I will typically wash my vehicle at least once per week. I stick to the 2-bucket wash method along with foam cannon and electric pressure washer. My question to you guys is as follows...

How often do you remove your wheels/tires for undercarriage cleaning? I like to do mine every 2-3 months. I'll typically spray it down with a degreaser and agitate with a soft brush following with a high pressure rinse.

I know it's a bit time consuming but I enjoy doing it and looks great.

Tools I use:
  1. Breaker Bar
  2. Protective Wheel Saver
  3. Torque Wrench

I love the wheel saver. It keeps from scratching my wheels and glides around with ease.

Do you guys do any crazy type of detailing with your vehicles?

i try to give my car a good detail, a wash/polish/sealant every 4 or 6 months with regular 2 bucket method wash couple times a month if time permits, but i have not done a full undercarriage detail before.

I try and reach in as far as I can to clean that area, Im not dedicated enough to take the tires off to clean that area, one puddle and its a mess already.

I would go and buy a proper floor jack... Those scissor jacks are risky even during a quick spare change.

I think every 2-3 months is more than enough Props to you and your dedication with your ride.

For me, 2 times a year is when i do the complete detail(previous cars obviously, gonna do the same with the IS) including removing wheels to clean undercarriage. However, with every wash i always use the 2 bucket method, clean wheel wells, and clean undercarriage the most i can. I try to keep the paint protected and shiny with spray wax from griots when drying the car after every wash

I opted for spending the extra money on my F Sport Intake rather than forking the money into the floor jack this month. I'll head over to Harbor Freight next month and pick up a nice floor jack.

I am as **** as you and love every minute of it. IN fact, I am so **** that I don't drive my vehicles in Snow/Rain/Wet roads whatsoever. It is mainly a fun car for when the weather is nice.

Once look at my handle will explain why I never get caught in the rain *lol*
