I only drive in S+. Coming from an Evo X, its the only way to handle the loss in power/handling. I think from a throttle standpoint they modes aren't much different, but handling is so much better in S+. Of course my opinion on throttle response may be because I only drive in manual. The most annoying thing about the IS, manual upshifting is the reverse of what it should be, so I stick to the paddles most of the time.
