No, it's a very strong rubber like material that's resistant to scraping and tearing.
It flexes and bends to the shape of your bumper and when you go over large inclines and scrape your front bumper, it bends and provides a medium for your bumper to go over.

I have a steep driveway at the house. I recently dropped on tanabes and have little to no clearance at the driveway. Will the allfit help with scraping (protect my bumper), or will it just get torn off?

If installed properly with the included screws it should just bend backwards underneath your bumper and then bend back into place once you drive off.

Most people with lowered cars that encounter steep driveways have learned to approach them at an angle or semi- diagonally to prevent bottoming out.

The traditional lip looks the best for IS's.

Lol. Yes, I am familiar with the angled approach, however depending on you passenger load or traffic, you can't always do that. I rather be safe than sorry in protecting the bottom. Would be interested to have Allfit chime in also.

So I just received my All Fit Lip Friday! super excited to install them. As I was going to install it, I noticed there's a bump under the bumper. How do you guys overcome it or still install the lip? I have attached two photos to show examples where the bumps are. Any advice would help. Thank you!!!

You screwed into your lexus... The tape was more than strong enough.

Any updates on that? Did you guys put in relief cuts when installing the lip around some of the curves on the bumper?
