Really those windshield are so expensive in US?
I changed mine about 3 months ago in an official Lexus bodyshop with a new OEM windshield and I payed a total of 700€ (parts + working time), it's less than 1000$. And I have rain sensor...

Im on windshield #2. My insurance company USAA covered it flat out. It took almost 2 weeks since the part came from japan. I was pissesd. A small chi-------------------------- ( that long ) ended up going from one side of the glass to the other.
