Default door guards/cleaning suggestions

Using a soft toothbrush but still not doing the trick, the toothbrush is leaving small scratch marks too , luckily you can't see them unless you look close. what do you do to keep them clean? I have UW too, Don't want to remove them, not worth the stone chips, but becoming a pain that edge of the plastic collects a lot of dirt and debris.

Have you tried a cotton swab? Or microfiber might work well. I think the toothbrush might just move the dirt around versus really pick it up. What type of cleaner are you using?
