Default Voice control button

Is there a setting to adjust the voice control button so it skips that introduction? I feel like I have to wait for an explanation every time when I just want to say a quick command.

I can't remember where it is but it's in the settings on the nav screen.

I must have a mouth full of marbles because it is worthless to me. I doubt if it recognizes my request once out of ten tries.

You're right doodlebug, just pressing twice is the easiest way. I couldn't find anything in settings. That solves that mystery.

After you disable the prompts as instructed here, the system is simple to use. Just speak slowly and enunciate clearly. I find the system understands me 99% of the time.
