Just a few days ago I have been experiencing the following issues;

- Unlocking the door through the handle caused the vehicle to flash the emergency lights, both exterior and interior lights pulse, 4 times.

- The tachometer blacks out and stays blacked out for the duration of the trip. Resetting it (Turning off the car, turning off the radio) didn't help.

- Replacing the key fob battery didn't help.

I did schedule for my car to be serviced, but anything I can do to fix it now would be great.

 

Similar thing happened to me, I was keeping my phone and keys in the same pocket and I guess it was making everything go crazy because of the interference. Wouldn't even let me open my car door. Would unlock and lock right away. Had to wait a few minutes and open the door with physical key. Didn't affect my dash though. Keep my phone and keys in different pockets now, hasn't happened since.

 

My keys and phone are in opposite pockets.
This happens even when I have just the key fob in my hand.

I checked the system warning messages and there's nothing in there.

 

I get the multiple beeps, but not the instrument cluster issue. I am not sure they're related, but I could be wrong. It's happened before.

 

This happened to me last month. I felt so stupid that I couldn't get into my car. Never experienced anything like this before or again. I usually keep my phone in an opposite pocket. Somewhat happy that this seems to be a common issue so we can expect a fix. It would suck to be caught in this issue at an awkward place or for a longer period of time

 

it happened to me but not because of my phone. I tried unlocking but keeps on beeping. I noticed all the other doors are unlock except for driver side. The issue with mine is the driver side lock was stuck in between unlock and lock from the inside, had to manually put it back to lock and unlock again to get it to work, it was a hot hot day. I never got the instrument issue, just the unlocking beeps.

 

The car is about a year old, starting to see signs of wear, sadly.

This morning when I unlocked my passenger side, all the doors unlocked except for the passenger side.
I then manually locked it with the key kob, then attempted again, same problem.
Did this 5 times and the same problem.
I was not able to see the driver side, but this is a big concern for me.

*** Note, I never modded the car in any way, it's still stock the same way it was purchased, aside from the tint ***

 

This crap happened to me again today. I was actually at a tint shop getting a minor repair on the tint. I wonder if tint has anything to do with it? The tint guy just pulled on the back door handle and it opened..

 

Looks like it went away after a few days, but it still terrifies me the fact that it may occur again at any given time.
It'll probably happen when I'm running from zombies and I get locked out of my own car.

 

I have had the 4 beeps and all doors except drivers unlock. Notified dealer but they couldn't replicate. Pretty embarrassing reaching in from the back seat lol

 

I had something similar happen to me where I unlock the car, it will unlock all doors excluding the drivers side. I have to go through the back to unlock my own door.... It gets kind of annoying.

 

I hope eveyone is reporting to their dealer so a solution can be found!!

 

I'll be letting my dealer know when I go for my 8k km service in about a month or so.

 

I'm having the same issue and have only 1k miles. Any updates? I am planning to take it to the dealer, but most likely going to turn me away and say they cannot duplicate it as it is an intermittent problem.

 

Nobdy else having this issue with their door locks?
