Default Remote Start Doesn't Work with Nav?!?!

Just took delivery of my car yesterday and forgot to ask how remote start works. While searching the web i read that it does not work with IS 350's with nav. Is this true, if so i am about to blow up on my dealership tomorrow!!!

Oh ok. I did look it up and i saw the one post and not many comments or people who could vouch for that to be true. I wouldn't worry until you get the car back. It's a 50k dollar car c'mon the remote start has to work. You don't think Lexus would have tested a remote starter on a car with navigation before releasing it to the public?

you guys are late to the game.. errh thread at least. if you have a 14 or are buying a 14 3is, you're shiet out of luck. lexus won't fix the issue. lexus says they will fix it only on 15 and up models. complete total bull but what can you do. well only thing to do is to get an after market one.

will keep you guys posted because they sold it to me. Going to ask for some type of advanced compensation. Not sure if we have legal recources since they sold us something under false pretenses knowing there is an issue. Should be interesting!

Lexus customer service just told me that there is disclaimer on their website and they don't promise all add-on's are available. PM me if you want to see my email conversion with Lexus customer service about this problem. I think it is bs that they won't admit the fact that they are misleading everyone purchasing the car. Just wish there was legal actions or something else I can do for them to fix this.

I guess all of us first model year buyers are financing Lexus's R&D department to fix this issue for 2015 my buyers.

I'm supposed to pick mine up next week but after reading this article I'm waiting for the 2015 as painful as this wait will be.

The 2015 upgraded fog lights and added the enform app allowing control from your mobile phone (starting, climate, locks). They also added ventilated seats to the F Sport which is a nice little feature.

They might not promisethe add ons are available but they are advertising it as available, and selling them with the car. I will also consult legal counsel at my company to get a feel for what this could turn in to. As of right now my sales guy just replied with how to do the remote start from the key fob so either he has no idea or he is playing dumb. Either way there will be fire works at the dealership this afternoon.

Someone said it could be installed after market. Does anyone know what that cost would be approx. I might work on them footing the bill for that install as they already owe me 500 bucks for an option i paid for but dont have.

^ This is bull**** you paid 500 they should refund you the entire cost and then pay for an aftermarket just for the inconvenience.
