Yep, I was just wondering if it is too much, I'm currently working on this so far:
Have you thought of lowering with painted stock wheels?
I'm going with the whole black/white contrast theme and I was waiting 'til I get new wheels, preferably 19s powdercoated in satin black, before I may or may not lower with rsr downs. I'm afraid to lower it too much because of the crappy roads we have here in NYC. I'm also swapping the rear diffuser with the Aimgain's type 1 very soon.
I do like the F-Sport rims, I just wish they made them in 19s instead of 18s, I know thers replicas on ebay but I wouldn't trust them completely as far as quality/durability wise.
You can always try it and worst case remove it if you don't like it. It would be a very low cost effort especially if you buy the vinyl at your local automotive specialty store yourself.
Seeing your roof looks like gloss black (and rear wing too?), I'd stick with the same gloss black theme anywhere else you would expand on it.
PS. On the A7, the black handles cheapen the look IMO, much like cars of the past that had black bumpers, mirrors, and door handles reflected the cheap base model.
