Hi all -
Anyone got any ideas how to touch-up the edges of my center door pillars? The door pillars are glossy black, but the edges on my front doors are chipped to the point you can see the grey color under the glossy black finish.
Btw....i dont want to the carbon fiber look, so thats not an option.
Is there something that the dealer sells, other than buying new door pillars?
Thanks in advance.
Pete

i didnt know you could replace the door pillars i thought you would have to repaint them. how much do they run for $? mine have a couple of scratches on them as well and a big one on the C pillar
I had the same problem. And touch up doesnt work, b/c the pillars are glossy. I used the black vinyl strips with the glue inside that are usually used for the doors to avoid chips on the edges. The stips slide on the pillars and fit perfectly once cut to length, and at the same time fill in the gap between the pillars.

Thanks for the suggestions....that sounds like a good solution....plus, it'll solve my wind noise problem that seem to come from the gap in the center pillars between the front and rear doors.
