Default Wire hanging from pass. door?

Sup guys. Noticed a wire with a gray plug hanging from underneath my pass. side door. Kind of interferes with my door closing. Im thinking this is something used to keep the battery charged while car is in transit. Nevertheless this probably should have been cut or something upon me taking delivery of the vehicle.

At my desk right now, will try to get a picture in an hour or so.

i think car batteries are disconnected during transport, it poses a fire hazard if they are connected.

It is the courtesy light - just checked!

I hope I didn't get some POS car - that same door panel is also all discolored - leather looked like it wasn't glued or stitched to the panel correctly. Best part is got the car through a broker- they got the car from Long island - I'm in north NJ, not so close by.. Should I take my complaints to another dealer, not that kinda guy to complain to someone who didn't help me in the first place. Thoughts?

the gray piece is the socket that holds the bulb and snaps into the lens, the white is the actual plug.

I would take it in. It looks like the door panel will have to be at least partially removed/pulled back. If the owner breaks anything, scratches anything, etc. it will be on him to fix. I'd rather let the dealer handle all of that.

Or maybe that's just me because it seems like I never have good luck when it comes to dealing with door panels...
