Default Where do you guys place your phone?

Like title says, where do you guys place your phones? If you have holder off the vent/windshield/etc, posting a picture would be nice. Thanks in advance!

I've been using one of these since January - no issues so far! Love how easy it is to just snap the phone on/off when entering/exiting the vehicle.

Windshield! Tried the dash first but it didn't stick as well, and was more obstructive to vision and my charging cable.

I either do this or just leave it in my pocket.

I bought one of those aftermarket trays that fit perfectly in the armrest, giving two levels of storage. The lower level gets my crap that I don't use all the time, and the top level gets my sunglasses and phone

This has been working great for me. I dont like the idea of securing to the air vents or applying adhesive to dash or other components.

Sitting in this position it is stable and does not wobble around while I'm driving. You can see it sits on the dash along the bottom and also up against the side a bit...can't stand them before cause they kind of bounce around while I'm driving.

Phone is within reach when needed but does not obstruct my view while driving.

Heres the one I got ...

I have two phones, so one stays linked to the car and is usually in my pocket. My other phone goes on the passenger side air vent closest to the vent dial with a cheap gravity mount i got on Amazon. Works for me, doesn't block any buttons, and the SF Bay area doesn't get so hot/cold that I really notice losing a vent.

Its actually just wedged in between the panel and the console, ended up not using double sided tape. Surprisingly it is pretty secure, and works nicely with the location of the lightning cable for my smartphone screen mirror setup.

UPDATE: Amazon doesn't seem to carry this exact phone holder anymore. It's made by Mofly and can still be found on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/122748002005?rmvSB=true

Love this setup, nice & clean and out of the way. The interior of this car is so nice I really don't want to block the vents or heat/ac or radio controls. When your phone is on there, can you use the tuner **** on the radio (sorry your pics are really dark)?

I checked and that Amazon link and ebay link now also no longer works (product is not available). I did a search on Amazon and found this. Is this the same product/concept as yours? Just slide the piece with that adhesive on it in between the leather and unit?

Best spot is in between the ergo-grip for the nav and the dial for sport mode(s). Its out of the way and can stay plugged in.

Does this bother passengers? Does anyone regularly hit it with their knee? I really like this and have always wished for a clip in that area instead of using the vent. I even picked up some plastic from Taps Plastic to try and fabricate one...I just haven't got around to it yet.

Thanks.

Unless the passenger is like 6'-6" and seat pushed all the way up, I don't think their knees would be an issue (not trying to be a wise a$$, just making an observation). Hoping tabjohitol review & responds, hate not having a spot for my phone. Have my old vent clip temporarily but it doesn't stay in place well.

Cool my setup

I just throw it on the dash and I can easily use it while driving because it's mounted high up so I can see it without looking down

radar detector cord wrapped around my phone charger, with my phone case where my phone is mounted

magnet on dash

metal plates on phone
