Hey,
So I just reached 3,000 miles and I'm getting a message to rotate my tires. Is that normal? Do you know how much that typically costs at the dealership?

if you have the fsport or the 18 inch rims, you are not supposed to rotate the tires. those tires are one directional and cannot be rotated. I have never had the tires on any of my IS's rotated going back to 2006 when I got my first one.Originally Posted by theoryguy3

That's kinda true and not at the same time. If you have directional tires with staggered wheels such as that on the f sport, then you can't rotate them. If you have staggered wheel setup, you can rotate them side to side only if you have nondirectional tires. If you have a square setup (wheels all the same width, ect.) and have asymmetric or symmetric tires you can rotate front to back, side to side, and X all day long.Originally Posted by dstopsie

You need to check with your dealer and tire shop. I have had 2 tire shops and 2 different elite Lexus dealers state they can't be rotated not even side to side. I have never received a warning light to rotate my tires in seven years that I've owned Lexus IS's. Originally Posted by theoryguy3

Again, they r not Rotational. They can rotated side to side but not front to back. Don't need to ask the dealer.Originally Posted by dstopsie
