I got a pre-owned IS and the sunroof failed after a month. It was stuck in 1/3 open position.
The Lexus dealer took care of it and told me to make sure it's well-lubricated during service.

However, I forgot to ask them what type of lubricant I'm supposed to use? Does Lexus have
any special grease for this? On my other car, BMW has their own special sunroof
lube that's available at the parts dept. It come in a small packet like the photo below.
I have a few spare ones. Is it safe to use it on Lexus IS sunroof?

You can just use white lithium grease... 3 bucks at auto zone.
