I don't have a video but I also had trouble. At the dealership we had to go through the settings a couple of times before it took. While paired to the car, go to settings, Bluetooth, and then the little info (i) beside Lexus Is. See if the show notifications is still green. Mine kept switching off for some reason. If Its not green, try turning Bluetooth off and switching it to green. then turn Bluetooth back on. If it is green all I can suggest is try the forget this device and try it over again.

 

Well I tried all that and still nothing ! My show notifications stayed green and nothing , but u got yours working though ? I know it's a small thing but I want to take advantage of everything they offer :-(

 

Mine has never worked either . I don't get any sound or anything with my i phone 5 .

 

Damn apple I think is holding back on us !! I don't know anyone with android to check it out either !! That stinks !!

 

Ok guys I figured it out !! :-) the problem was on notifications on messages has to be on alert and show lockscreen , and make sure the notifications is on the lexus Bluetooth ! The only thing is u can't respond but oh well

 

I'm gonna give it a try and see if that works for me too . Thank you for figuring it out.

Did u go to settings, then notification center , then messages , then from there make sure u turn on show in notification center and turn on show on lockscreen . See if that helps ! Hope so !

 

Yes, but it still doesn't work. I'm not losing any sleep over it, though.

 

Mine have been working on an iPhone 5 since I picked up my car in July. Here are my settings in Notification Center:

• Notifications View = ON
• Today View = ON
• Messages, Alert Style = Alerts
• Messages, Alerts = Show in Notification Center
• Messages, Show on Lock Screen = ON

I also hate how when I connect iPhone via USB, bluetooth does not work, and I keep getting errors when media is set on iPod. My Lexus Enform Pandora also gives me nightmares and headaches!

 

Yeah that should work now . As far as pandora working all u have to do is just open up lexus enform app before getting in the car and pandora should work flawlessly and don't connect it via USB :-) good luck

 

Sorry to bring this thread up but anyone else out there with an iphone 5 or 5S still having issues with text messages not displaying?

I have been through every possible setting and I just cant figure this out.

I have IOS 7 also tried my Wife's 5S and hers wont work either.

I guess my next stop is the dealer.. such a small thing that I hate to take it in for.

 

ok, nevermind! It finally just decided to start working! I just re-paired it and it worked!
