Default Tpms

The weather here turned cold last night. I'm in Ontario and it was close to freezing last night. When I went to drive my 3IS to work the tire pressure light is on. If I display the pressures it shows me the right side tires are both 30psi and both highlighted in yellow. They were 32 psi in the summer and no warning. I assume the 2psi drop in pressure is due to the cold weather. While driving home from work the pressures both came up to 31 psi but the light is still on and the menu that displays the pressure still shows those tires in yellow? How can I clear this warning?

I guess the threshold is set to 32. Once all 4 tires reach 32 psi, the alert should clear.

I had the same thing happen to me a month ago. I increased the psi to about 34 on all 4 tires and hasn't alerted me yet.

The cold weather affects the psi to drop by about 1 psi per 10 degree drop I believe.

The only way to clear it is to inflate your tires. I love the pressure gauge in the dash cluster! On cold mornings, I see where my tire pressure is. I've been keeping it at 36 psi through the fall and it's holding now that the temperature has reached freezing.

theres a button under the steering on the dash that you set the TPMS to.....like now when its cold you can press the button and change the sensor to go off at 30 instead of 32 as the tires heat up when driving...just read your manual and it tells you how to do it...pretty simple...the standard setting is 32

Does the US versions have an extra desplay option that shows how much pressure the tires hold?
The EU cars only have the warning light if something is wrong. Never forund any way to actuallly display the pressure. (f-sport)

This option is not on the EU cars. At least not on my car.
Finally something the US cars get, that the EU cars doesn't have.
