Default Being cheap never fails...

Hi, All-

So today I decided to do a cleaning followed up by a sealant and wax. While cleaning the car, I dropped the micro-cloth on the floor and picked it up and dusted it off. So I continued with the cleaning and applied a sealant and wax. It took me about three hours to do the entire car with the interior. After all was said and done, I noticed light scratches over the entire car !!!! I was planning to do Opti-Coat 2.0, but after the $500 price tag by a local shop, I decided to go this route. Lesson learned, will be dropping it off this weekend for a good buffing followed up with Opti-Coat with rims! I thought I would share my sad story!

Lesson learned indeed. Never use a microfiber cloth or a clay bar that has been dropped.

I think 500 is worth it, if the job is done correctly. Opti-coat is supposed to last for years.

I clay barred my car last week, kept dropping chunks so I went through a whole 226 gram bar. Small price to pay knowing I wasn't causing more damage.

very true indeed. never pick up micro fiber towel when drop or clay bar. our paint is very soft so we must be really careful. i have opti-coat sitting right next to me but haven't find the time to do it yet. black paint are such a pain to do but the result are so worth it after.
