Since the car is still rare on the road, do you acknowledge other 3IS drivers? Reminds me of a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode hehe

 

The only friendly drivers who constantly wave are Mini Cooper drivers. They're crazy hah

 

The only guy who ever waved at me was a guy in a Porsche 911. He gave a thumbs up as well.

 

I would if I ever saw one! I have yet to see a 3IS on the road,

 

"Beep, beep, Hi!" This is a Lexus, not a Geo Storm.

 

I have seen one on the road in the last 17 days since I have owned my car. She didn't see me. The answer was no I didn't.

 

I've only seen one 2014 IS on the road. Interesting enough, it was another Starfire Pearl. Overall, it's great to drive a new model. Mostly, I've noticed drivers of other Lexus models doing a double take.

Waving at other passing traffic is typically practiced only by motorcyclists.

 

I usually try to "race" another 3IS if I see one. It's one sided, but yeah.

When (not if) I see a 2IS I'll slow down, hang around, and let them check me out

I'll always let an IS F pass me.

Funny...the other day a 2IS that was in front of me purposely got behind me so that he could check my car out (I'm assuming)

 

I waved at the only other 3IS I have seen. It was at a 4-way stop and we both got caught admiring each other's cars. It was an awkward wheel wave!

 

Southern Nevada checking in--I've yet to see another 3IS, although any automotive courtesy in a gaming community near Las Vegas is rare. Still, I'm willing to buck the trend and acknowledge a fellow 3IS driver, should one ever appear.

In the 60's, it was very common to have drivers of any foreign marque to waive or flash lights at other foreign cars. As imports proliferated, the custom sadly disappeared.

Not just waved, but talked! It helps when you both end up filling up at the gas station almost at the same time and adjacent to each other.

 

Only if it's another 350...I don't associate with the mere 250s :P Kidding.

I haven't seen any other 3ISs in my area though.
