A 5 spd transmission?!? why didn't they at least do a 6 spd? It would have been nice if they could have used the ISF tranny in there

So...I know eventually I will want more power out of my IS, and I'm not sure if I'd want to get the RC-F or not. A noob question - what would it take (the basics) to put this in a RWD IS350 F-Sport?

- Would the transmission need to be swapped or could it take the torque?
- Any chance of getting the F-Sport's dash wired to the ECU?
- I'm assuming this would likely mean I would have to replace almost everything in the engine bay, correct?

Don't hate...I don't know a lot when it comes to the internals of cars and can only perform the basic maintenance like changing oil, spark plugs, brakes, etc. I know a little about tuning and performance mods. Software/computers are my expertise.

F-Sports seem to be at a disadvantage with the LFA-inspired tachometer if one is probably consudering such a swap. I imagine the 250 base model would be the ideal model for this kind of engine swap? What would be the use of S+ or the Variable Suspension?

What is the projected cost of doing such artistry on this vehicle? 700 hp sounds absurd on a IS.

OK this one wins as best SEMA Lexus build period.

Now if someone can install a new LT1 engine in one of these bad boys that would be even sicker!!!!!

Thats a question that you should ask evasive motorsport as they have done the build and would probally let you know how much that ran them.

Variable suspension would not matter if you goin to get a good set of coils over, and 700 hp is not absurd the 1gen is can handle that, basically same motor without turbo.

You get more HP out of an inline 6 with a single exhaust.
