Please let me know. I'm interested in updating my 2015 software.

 

Weird, I am not able to update it for my 2014 Lexus IS350. It needs an update badly too and the firmware is definitely newer but the car grays out the update button. What gives?

EDIT: Solved. Used a different usb stick, it didn't like my USB 3.0 stick.

 

Successful in upgrading my CAN 2014 IS350 from V10C8741 to the latest posted on the site.

I did have to try 2 USBs (1 of them didn't work for whatever reason - greyed out "UPDATE" button).

 

One of the things I noticed while trying to do the update is that if I put 2014 the old body frame shows and if I put 2015 the new body frame pops "weird". did anyone else noticed this?

 

Updated the software on my 2015 IS350 using the website and USB. Doesn't feel any faster or slower, still the same.. which is basically slow lol.

Lol don't expect miracles guys. It's not gonna make it run super fast all of a sudden. Software update is only is helping a little bit. It's lyrically a hardware processor issue causing it to rub slow and that's why for 2015 they upgraded processor which is why 2015 doesn't use same firmwares updates and seem to be improved in speed without it

 

Highly don't recommend this. There is obvious hardware differences internally between the two. Worse case scenario probably is a bricked Stereo that won't turn on

 

Bump to this thread- There is mention of an "Animation" setting somewhere in the menus, but I cant find it on my 2014. Is this option in a secret menu? Please show us where to find it.

Does anyone have the update file for a 2014 IS350 with navigation?
I currently have the ancient version V10A8000 on my car so would be nice to get an update.
