Check out the CT forum as I've seen some people add an intake to their hybrid. You might also want to check out http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/105-camry-hybrid/ since the Camry has a nearly identical hybrid drivetrain to the IS300h.

Good luck.

I don't think you'll get any actual gains by it since the engine power output is highly supervised by the ECU. In order to make the hybrid drivetrain as smooth as possible, the power output of the engine and electric motor is strictly controlled.

Hi, if the IS 300h is anything like previous Lexus, you can modify most things with no issue. For example my GS 450h has a big brake kit and it did not affect the hybrid synergy drive system at all.

I'm on the phone with Japan constantly in regards to new parts for the IS and they are coming, a ton of stuff will debut for SEMA 2013.

Hello. I also drive an IS300H. You can buy the diffuser for the IS250 on the internet. That will fit the IS300H. When you do you will see the 2 exhaustpipes. No problem.

Worth mentioning that the exhuastpipes on the 300h are pointing downwards, are colored black and does not appear fit with silver exhaust tail pipes, due to the fact that they are pointing downwards.

Cut of the tip and replace with a straight one. Not a big jobb.

Just what JHS82 says. Just cut of the tip behind the curve and put a nice tailpipe on it. It is a char of 30 minutes.
I you want i can give you the address of the internetstore that sells the diffuser.

@Magne. Think in solutions not in problems.

I'm a bit bothered when it comes to modifying brand new cars in a way that is not reversable. Maybe that's just because cars are so damn expensive here.
So something insides me says that cutting in any part of a 80000$ brand new car is not an option..

But yes, there is a saying that nothing is impossible. The impossible just takes longer time to fix

But why not go all the way and order a TRD or modelista rear bumper, or wait 6 months until the styling for the car has been released from various companies?

There will be full bumper kits soon, I've seen some renderings. One has a LS/GS style exhaust cutout...the other has a cutout for an aftermarket exhaust...Wish I could share..

I know I'm years late but I have a modded Is300h Fsport with quite a few mods. Body kit (sides, rear and front lip) as well as BBks, exhaust mods (I actually have sound!)coilovers etc.
