I bought my 08 IS350 used but I always had it serviced at the dealer and was on their email list. I remember getting invited to launch events for the new GS and other new model cars last year (and maybe earlier). I never attended, but I think they made a big deal with snacks and drinks and maybe a presentation or something.

The thing is, I haven't received anything about the new IS, and I would have thought that they would have announced something like this by now. Does anyone know anything about this? It's probably something completely up to each dealer but I would imagine they would all do something like this. Maybe I just wasn't invited?

 

The launch events have already come and gone. They kicked off the week before the car went on sale to the public and roughly that week as well. As far as not hearing anything from your dealer, sometimes the email lists accidentally drops people off or too many are already RSVP-ing and there's no room to invite more.
