Silver IS 350 at local auto show
This was basically a Lexus expo since they didn't have ANY other luxury brand car. Either way I was THRILLED to see the IS in person. It is absolutely amazing. I went with some of my bemur buds who were hesitant about the design when it was first unveiled in Detroit but seeing it in person gives you a renewed appreciation. The lines and design cues are beautiful. The silver didn't look all that bad. Either way, I've had my eyes on this for a while and seeing it in person was even better. Just have a couple of questions: will an F-sport with ML have to be a special order on the east coast (Nc)? When should one consider inquring about pricing/ ordering (is it to early at this point?) Any ideas on pricing of F-sport w and w/o ML?

What color is that interior? Is this an F-Sport?
Well according to the UK website there are 4 different packages
SE Pkg (entry)
Luxury Pkg includes:
17” alloy wheels, Lexus Park Assist, Rain-sensing wipers, 60/40 split rear seats (both IS 250 & IS 300h
F-Sport Pkg includes:
18” 10 spoke F Sport alloy wheels, Sport suspension with lateral damping system
F Sport mesh grille, LFA-style instrument meters, F Sport aluminium sports pedals
F Sport leather trim on steering wheel and gear lever
Premier Pkg includes:
18” 5 spoke alloy wheels, Automatically folding wing mirrors, 8-way power-assisted leather seats including heating and ventilation functions, Electrically operated steering column, 7-inchHDDfull map satellite navigation system with dynamic route guidance, rear view camera and connected services, Mark Levinson sound system with 15 speakers and 5.1 channel surround sound
I'm sure none of this will apply to the US but we can only hope.
I want the Luxury Pkg & Premier Pkg, I also want the Nav and ML, but if the ML is a separate option for special order only then we are back to usual Lexus special order only nonsense. These are luxury cars they need to be equipped with luxury features without having to special order, especially for FL regions.

Silver paint looks great under showroom lights. I bought my last IS in silver efter I saw it in the showroom. But I regreted almost immediately after the delivery that I didn't choose white pearl instead...
