Question '22 IS350 Wheel Fitment

Hey All,
Long time lurker, first time poster. Looking for some fitment advice for my '22 IS350 F-SPORT AWD. Currently on stock suspension, wheels, and tires.

I have a set of staggered 19" Niche Misano (19x8.5, +33 front / 19x9.5, +35 rear) from my previous '14 IS350 AWD, wrapped in some Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 235/35ZR19 | 265/30ZR19 tires. Seem to be getting mixed answers about if they will fit without any rubbing?

I see the overall ratio of the Niche setup is smaller than stock, meaning the speedo would read higher than actual speed, but worry that jumping up in tire aspect ratio to a 235/40 | 265/35 would lead to rubbing.
I also have noted that I'll need to switch to M14x1.5 conical lug bolts with a ~28-32mm shank.

Appreciate any insights anyone could share about if either the above wheel/tire combo or scaling up slightly to the 235/40|265/35 aspect ratio would work without any rubbing (or fender work).

(I would like to lower it with RSR Down springs in the future too, but am thinking this wheel setup may be too aggressive for a drop...)

Thanks in advance!

Hey K3,
It's been sometime since I've had to calculate wheel sizes. I took the easy way out and read the forums to get my desired fit. I have upgraded OEM wheels with spacers but we can do the math.
My research show the OEM wheels are 19x8.5 +45 front and 19x9.5 +60 back. I added 15mm spacers in the front and 20mm spacers in the rear. This would make my wheels +30 in front and +40 in the rear. I upsized my front tires from 235/40r19 to 245/40r19 and rear from 265/35r19 to 275/35r19. I'm lowered on Eibach pro kit which is a mild drop, 1" front and .5" back. I have no rubbing issues but please know it is a mild drop.
Not sure if this helps but thought I would give my 2 cents just in case. Here are a couple pics for reference. If you have 33+ in the front, you'll be fine. 35+ in the back would be my concern.

Damn, your car is sitting really nice and fitment is great too. I remember I ran 25mm and 20mm rear spacer but that was on the OEM 18" wheels on my 2015 IS. How do the Eibach springs ride? Any issues with camber?

The Eibach is a mild drop. The ride is a bit stiffer but not jarring. But I also have the Figs 80 dur LCA bushings and AS tires so that would compromise the ride quality a bit more but it's completely acceptable to my taste. The camber is a non-issue as the alignment is within spec. By the way, I saw your build thread. Very impressed with what you have done. Great job!!! Hi Bota,
Agreed - that fitment is sick! Exactly what I'm chasing!

Greatly appreciate the reply with your experience. The rears are my biggest concern... unfortunately the shop I bought the wheels from years ago didn't seem to understand what would be too "aggressive" for a daily. I'd take your approach of finding what wheels do work in the forums, but trying to be mindful of a budget - for now lol.

Your BONOSS spacers; have you been happy with 'em? I assume you just had them include their extended lug bolts when ordering?

If the Niche's do turn out to be to aggressive, I may just do RSR Downs (because AWD, otherwise I'd go Eibach Pro kit as well) with the OEM wheels and 15mm / 20mm spacers to do the "OEM+ look"

Not sure that's smaller than stock; stock for my 350 awd f sport is 25.02" outside diameter all the way around, whereas your fronts are 25.4" OD and 26.3" OD for the rears. (I'm assuming this not an awd car) The rears dont turn, so all you have to worry about there is the fender lip rubbing on the inboard side while cornering, or the inner frame rail while driving straight, if that's even a thing on these cars. It's the front that not only turns, but takes the harder nose dive in the corners, especially on bumpy corners. I'd love to know this knowledge to as super low profile tires are INCREDIBLY stupid, especially in my state. I know I'm within 2 weeks of pinching a tire and denting a rim on these mint low mileage stock wheels so I'm looking for more sidewall myself. Wanna see if they fit.

Thank you Brother. Appreciate you!!! This is my first time using spacers. I really like them and they’re holding up great. There are two reasons why I tried them.
1. I really liked these OEM wheels.
2. These spacers use lug bolts.

To answer your question, yes they came with the lug bolts. I did not have to measure or anything. I had ordered them on eBay and they were already set up for the 2021 to 2025 IS 350.

Here’s a really good resource. It’s a website called Fitment industries. There’s a showcase of IS 350’s showing fitment and whether there’s rubbing or not. Check it out if you haven’t already.

Here’s the link. https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery
