Guy I change my front diff before got it to loosen easy. Second time around not so much. I had luck with 50 degree wrench but now it won't work with little to no room to turn. Has any one have a good tool they used for it. I also used a long extension wrench. Just wanna hear what worked for you to decide what I can do thanks.
The front fill plug is a pain in the butt.
I bought an offset wrench for this job, but it didn't work for me. Luckily, the Dewalt combination wrench that I use for the engine oil plug did. It has a slight bend at the closed end. I've done it twice so far, and it worked both times. Hope it works for you too.

Yeah I have a wrench like that but just as soon as I put it on it hit the are that sticking out. So no room to make a turn. I might take to a shop and let them deal with it for now.
Weird. I used that link and ordered one, but they shipped the wrong item, they shipped a DWMT723020SP, which has a ratcheting end that is not angled. Set up a return for the wrong item sent, and had them ship another, which also arrived as the wrong item. Started a return for it also. The seller apparently doesn’t stock the angled end wrench anymore, and ships something else.
