I’m planning to swap out my wheels and tires for a new aftermarket setup and just want to make sure I have everything covered before heading to the tire shop.
Car: 2023 Lexus IS 350 RWD New Wheels: Advan RG-4 (18x9 +35 | 5x114.3) New Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (255/40R18)
Parts I’ve already purchased:
Hub-centric rings: 73.1mm → 60.1mm
Lug bolts: M14 x 1.5, 27mm, conical seat
I’m also planning to have the shop transfer my OEM TPMS sensors from the stock wheels to the new setup.
Question:
Am I missing anything critical here?
This is my first time working with aftermarket wheels, so I’d love any advice to make sure I’m fully prepped before the install.
you want to stick with lug bolts? when I swapped over to my aftermarket wheels I ended up getting a stud conversion kit and some nice lug nuts to go with it. think lug nuts look better than bolts on these type of wheels imo, and makes taking on/off the wheel a breeze

Good thinking. I was planning on eventually swapping to the studs since the availability of good looking lug nuts is so much more than the bolts, maybe just doing it now while I am swapping wheels is the move.
