That vent assembly just pulls straight out, doesn't it?
Do you have that PN?
You'd think so. The bezel around the driver gauge cluster needs to come off first since that overlaps the bezel on the left side.
Then loosen the screws to the top most portion of the center console just under the vents. The vent bezel should be able to pull out. The clock can be disconnected and later removed from the bezel. It was a pain to get the new one in since the bottom of the bezel is just a tiny bit tucked under the top part of the center console. You'd think the thing would just come straight out but it doesn't.
PN I'd have to double check. Its on the part in my photos but I forgot which of the PN's shown was the one for the entire piece. Lexus told us it only comes as a complete piece. smh

I have to order one for mine so if you find the correct PN I would appreciate it, as mine is the same color. I kid you not, I bought my car, finished the paperwork, got inside, mounte my phone with the same holder I used in my 2019, and broke the vent within minutes of ownership lol.

I appreciate this response. This give me a better idea how I need to disassemble my stuff. Thanks for the info!
The AC vents were not meant to hold any sort of pressure whether it be from the phone or the ratcheting part of the mount, or both.
When it breaks, which it will, the vent is part of a larger piece that runs about $280.
The replacement is a pain in the *** as well. We just did this replacement for a customer.
I have a question - to remove center clock, do I have to remove whole vent assembly as well? I am planning to replace clock with OBD2 gauge that has same diameter (52mm) and put it in place of the clock but i can’t find any instructions online how to remove it.
